The Buy Malaysia Campaign (KBBM)

The Buy Malaysia Campaign (KBBM) 2020 was organised by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Territories, and launched by YAB Tan Sri Dato 'Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Mohd. Yassin, Prime Minister of Malaysia on 18th July 2020, Saturday at Suria KLCC Kuala Lumpur.

This campaign was created through an e-commerce platform involving various retail segments in Malaysia such as groceries, health and beauty, fashion and apparel, household items, games, books and hobbies, sports equipment, automotive and including services such as food and beverages.

The main objective of this campaign is to regenerate the post-Covid-19 economy in promoting consumers with special discount offers, cash back and free vouchers for consumers who purchase made in Malaysia products and services.

The Prime Minister advised consumers to continue spending in Malaysia to help the country's economy remain competitive. The campaign was developed to be a point of focus for joint efforts between the government, industry and even the consumer in regenerating the post-Covid-19 economy.
