Category Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure availability and profitability of products’ assortment through partnership with most appropriate suppliers and alignment with consumption patterns, business model, and Merchandise plans and budgets.
  • To create a group of products which deliver what customer needs.
  • Have a great range which the customer a reason to shop with us across all formats.
  • Develop my supplier base to achieve competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate product cost and rebates to continually drive down costs for our customers.
  • Plan and negotiate market leading promotions.
  • Use the exit process to optimise sell through and minimise exit costs
Requirements:~~
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Extensive buying experience within a multi site retail consumer business
  • Good understanding of range planning and Open To Buy Control (WSSI)
  • Understanding of country and global supply chain processes.
  • Successful track record of buying category product
